♡ My hair care routine! ♡

I've been inactive for too long, I knooooow. But I've been waaay too busy. Who would've known that working would make me feel so tired? But anyway, let's stop with the excuses! (; ̄ェ ̄)
Maaaany many people compliment me for my hair (huehuehue ( ˘ ³˘)❤ ) and I think I've told my hair care routine about a million times now, so why shouldn't I write a blogentry about it?

1. What shampoo & conditioner I use

I always tell the people what kind of shampoo and conditioner I use. I have to say, I'm kind of picky with that. I only use shampoo and conditioner that don't contain silicones. I hope that many of you already know that silicones aren't good for your hair. They create a 'coat' around your hair and that causes it to become heavy and dull. you want that? Me neither. (;¬_¬)
Right now I have the Herbal essences naked shampoo and conditioner.

While we're at the topic, I'll also tell you how often I wash my hair. I know, this may sound like a disgusting topic but ay, it's also bad to wash your hair too often! I wash my hair every two days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, get what I mean?). Give your hair the chance to produce some grease....yes, sounds pretty disgusting, I know. But this doesn't mean that you have to walk around with greasy hair, ok? Just a healthy bit grease.....ok I should stop this sounds so disturbing omg. (*/ω\*)

2. What hair mask/deep conditioner I use

I don't need to tell you that 'just washing the hair' isn't enough, right? Gooood. You should do a hair mask at least once a week. That's what I told myself, but to be honest, I barely do it myself. I easily forget to do it, or my most common reason: I'm too lazy to do it. So most of the time I do a hair mask every 2 weeks. Works for me and my hair, but it depends on your hair condition of course. If your hair is (more) damaged, you probably should do a hair mask at least once a week. I usually use the hair masks on the weekends, because I don't have time during the week (and I let it in my hair for an hour or so....I always forget to look at the time 。(*^▽^*)ゞ)
I'm honest, I'm still not sure if my hair mask is the best one for my hair. I'm quite content with the one I'm using right now, the thing is: it contains silicones. Which means I SHOULD look for a new one....

3. How often I style my hair with heat

to make it short: I rarely use my flat iron or my curling iron. My only sin is my blow dryer. As I said, I'm a horribly lazy person and sadly, I always shower late in the evening. And I HATE sleeping with wet hair. Do yourself a favor and try to avoid heat for your hair. That means, rarely straighten your hair, rarely make curls or waves. Really, your hair will thank you.
(You can also do cute different braided hairstyles, who needs a flat iron and a curling iron anywaaay~  For example!:)

4. How often I go to the hairdresser

At least every 2 months. I had some trouble with split ends, which forced me to cut my hair regularly. Right now I'm still growing my hair out (yes I want them to grow longer, but they're nearly long enough for me (‐^▽^‐) ), that's why I only go to the hairdresser every two months. If your hair needs to be cut more often because of split ends, then do it! They can grow out healthy this way. It may take some time, but it's worth it! Be patient.

5. Hair dye

As you know, I'm one of the kind that bleaches her hair. And yes, I know that hydrogen peroxide is bad for my hair. That's why I only bleach my hair when it's necessary, mostly every one and a half months. The disadvantage of this is clearly visible, my dark roots. But aaaayyy I'm sassy enough to deal with it. ᕙ(ꈍ∇ꈍ)ᕗ

6. Extra care products I use

I've been using the silica capsules I've mentioned in one of my previous entries. The package is now nearly empty, I took one capsule every evening (only because I always forgot to take them in the morning hahaha....) I thought my hair would grow faster maybe, but it didn't, of course. BUT! I've noticed that I don't get split ends that fast anymore! So my hair got kind of healthier since I take them. I'm not sure if it's because of them or because of the other things that I do.....meh, idc.

Sometimes I also use some hair oil when I have the feeling that my hair gets too frizzy. I use it in two different ways, I either rub some oil in my hair when it's still damp, or I carefully put some (only one or two drops for my whole hair!) oil on my hair after I blow dried it, so there's no hair sticking out anymore.

So that's my hair care routine right now! I have to say, it's still not perfect, and I may change it some time soon. If you have any suggestions how I could improve my hair care routine or if you still have any questions left, then leave a comment please!♡ 八(^□^*)
